ALIGNMENT OF ANJANA DATA WITH THE DAMA FRAMEWORK
DAMA establishes a compilation of best practices for data management, highlighting two concepts: the Data governance and data management. However, these two concepts must be differentiated because they involve a separation of functions between supervision and execution. Data governance is responsible for ensuring that data is managed appropriately to turn it into a strategic asset from which an organisation can derive business value, while data management is responsible for executing the corresponding activities with the aim of achieving the goals for which the data is available.
