Anjana Data presents its new Official Certification to accompany the launch of version 23.1
From Anjana Data we are pleased to announce that, with the release of our new version 23.1, we will also be renewing our Official Certification. As usual with each new version, our training also evolves to continue offering our ecosystem of partners and customers all the resources they need to acquire the necessary knowledge to get the most out of Anjana Data.
But, as 23.1 will mark a turning point in our Platform., We also wanted to go a step further in the Official Certification and make the new content live up to the new capabilities of Anjana Data.
As this will mean important changes in the levels of the Official Certification, we have launched this short article that gathers all the necessary information for those who are certified (more than 600 certified to date, which is soon to say), in the process of being certified or who are interested in obtaining the certification, both partners and clients and independent professionals. In this regard, the first level we are going to update is the initial level, which we called Fundamentals until now.. This level is the one that will evolve the most to become the most important.a new one called User Expert, which will collect all the updated content for any user of the Anjana Data 23.1 platform.
Once the Fundamentals level has been changed to User Expert, we will proceed with the changes of the following levels, which will keep their current names following their classification in three different paths: Functional Admin, Technical Admin and Platform Admin.
Here are a series of questions and answers that we hope will clarify all your doubts.
What will happen to users, will they have to re-register at this new User Expert level?
Users who had access to the Fundamentals level will continue to have access to the new User Expert level because the Fundamentals course will be updated in terms of content, documentation, exam and course name; but the course space will remain the same, only now with the name User Expert.
So there will be no need to fill in any forms again, but users will be able to log in as usual, only they will see updated content.
What content will the new course include?
The content is aimed at data governance and management roles, as well as any user in the organisation who wants to learn more about the platform's functionalities. The course provides knowledge on the handling of the platform while presenting a whole philosophy based on good data governance and management practices.
What will happen to the diplomas held by users so far?
Well, as we warned previously, the Fundamentals diplomas correspond to version 4.4 and therefore lose validity in the use of the new version. Anjana Data's Official Certification updates its course with each version implementing small changes, but, given the relevance of the changes in this version, in this case the levels are going to be changed in their entirety to ensure that users acquire the necessary knowledge to work with the new version of the platform. Therefore, those users who want to remain up to date will have to take the new level.
And how do I know which diploma corresponds to which version?
As we have done so far, each diploma of each course has a design and an identifying number for each user. Therefore, this time it will not be different, the new User Expert level, which is the evolution of our current Fundamentals course, will have an accreditation diploma with a different design and specific colours for that level.
What about the test, will users have to retake the test?
That's right, if the content changes, so does the test to pass the course. We would also like to announce that we will continue to maintain the same conditions as with the previous course: specific completion time, more than one 80% to pass the exam and three exam attempts.
What about the rest of the higher levels?
As we indicated above, the other levels of the Anjana Data Official Certification will also evolve, but progressively to ensure that the content is in line with the level we like to maintain in our Official Training Platform. Therefore, although we are working on the rest of the levels, for the moment we are only going to launch the User Expert level. However, we can announce that the changes will be made in the same way as with this level: first we will make a notice as we do now and we will set a date, then the changes will be implemented on the established date and a mailbox will be opened so that users can ask any questions that have not been resolved with the published content. Also, through this mailbox, we will be able to deal with specific cases of each user.
When will the new User Expert level be launched?
The new level will be launched on 16 November at 0:00 hours. So users will be able to enjoy the new content, without the need for new registrations and forms, from that date. Sharing the update of the Official Certification applied to the new version before the launch of the new version aims to allow users to acquire the necessary knowledge before starting to work with the new platform.
